Doin it up in Hartford...

My first weekend actually in my new apartment went fast and wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be. Friday took a trip to New Haven to Ikea, so I finally got some shelves, and a TV table. I promised myself I couldn't get a couch till after all the boxes were unpacked, but I did get a cool chair that's actually a lot more comfortable then it looks. And I got it delivered, which iis going to be awesome. Best decision ever!

Also, in unpacking I found my comforter - I've been looking for that forever! It's been getting colder up here, so def excited to have that.

Saturday I went out to Rookies, a local bar (on asian dave's reccomendation)- it was fun, even though PSU lost and they didnt show the fight. grr! I def hung out with a couple of bookies for a while when the game was on...it was, um, interesting, lol.

I'm just excited to see my apartment finally get some decoration and starting to take shape - instead of just boxes all over. It'll be even cooler once I get my TV table and some more shelves up.

DC this week!! I've got a meeting in b-more on thurs, and friday is a floating holiday - time to get some stuff from the DMV to transfer my license and all. hit me up if you're in moco

Longest show of them all...

Had a show today, my first one, but of course it was like 40 mins away and began at 6:30 AM. Thank goodness for starbucks!! Our booth, of course, faced east, and so I was stuck in the sun all day. My eyes hurt so bad from squinting at customers all day, plus i def got some major sunburn.

So when I got home, I did the only natural thing: had beer. It's Thursday, which means new Joey, Will & Grace, and Apprentice. Plus the season premiere of ER. :) yay.

Missing gretch's posts - time for an update!!!

So it looks like I need to break out the chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream again...got a second "the talk"

Can I please only converse with people who aren't crazy drama queens??

I feel like I'm taking crazy pills!!! hahaha

Since Gretch updated her blog and gave me new reading material, I suppose it was time to update mine. I don't really have a reason, other than I really am busy to update thsi with my life story all the time, so it just got left undone. Priorities! I had to first take care of Reidski and me's secret love child, Little Miller.

Training in Winny was fun, but as all Real World series, this too had to end. The final destinations are (drumroll please)...
CT, Seattle, Portland, Chicago, Northern Cal, Southern Cal, Denver, and Boise.

The last few months at corporate weren't really exciteing, we went to work, goofed off, came home, drank and watched Will Ferrell movies/skits. Sara and Gretchen are very appreciative that I hve now memorized many lines from such classics as: Zoolander, Big Lebowski, Old School and various other skits from Mr. Ferrell. Most of Corporate is glad were gone - now it's quieter, except Bentley cause he would come and hang out with us when he didnt do his work (but "he didnt do it cause he hated it") haha.

I got to go White Water rafting for my first Easten sales meeting, which was so awesome I went again on this 2-day trip own the Gauley River. You can only do this trip like 20 days inthe fall, and its during the dam release so the river is crazy. It was a lot of fun, even if one unnamed city slicker didn't bring a tent. oops.

Went back to PSU a lot recently, first to move all my stuff out *single tear*, then for the season opener, and again last weekend. Lots of fun, spent a lot of time in bars. Labor Day Weekend I had to send one person home, even though he thinks hes the master drinker hoem at like 10pm. I wont mentino his name, but it starts with 'm' and ends in 'att'. haha. Although my 8 hour experience at the Phryst didn't end up much better. oops. Tip: don't fight roads. they always win, and you'll end up with scraped knees and elbows. :-[

Life here in CT is quiet, but I got my new car, an awesome apt, and I'm spending a lot of time down at PSU or in moco/VA. I have a big meeting in Chantilly the 2nd week of Oct, and a meeting in B-more the end of Sept. I get to go shopping! yay! I need more work clothes that are more casual. I'm not even sure where to get them either. Gap/AE is too casual, and Express is too dressy and reveals too much for going into Home Deopt and meeting with contractors. I'll look online then hit my mall down home. :) Gretch you in?

Thats all for now, maybe I'll throw some insights / whatever into my next entry later. later kids
